VORTEX GENERATOR :A LARGE WHEEL-IN VERSION OF THE BOTTLE-VORTEX DEVICE.  ALLOWS CLOSE UP VIEW OF CIRCULATION AND INSTABILITIES.

1. Fill to 2/3 depth with clear water.  (or fill to above the injector outlet holes).  
2. Wheel in to class.  Set up video camera if need be.  Image close near the top is best.
3. Hook pump to ac and turn on.
4. Vortex forms in a couple of minutes.
5. After vortex forms, can see trajectories by dumping in a half bottle of food coloring near the outer rim (this is why the vortex looks blue in the images).
